About Me

My name is Kayla, I’m 24 and I live in a small town in Wisconsin.

The only type of traffic jam you’ll find here. Slow-moving tractor

I started this blog with a lot of random posts, but now it is a place to talk about my running and post my Project 365 pictures

I completed my Associate’s Degree in English in May 2011. I haven’t been able to get an English-type job, so I’m now enrolled at Fox Valley Tech getting my Office Assistant Certification. This blog has been a way for me to keep myself writing.

Running has recently crept into my life and I have welcomed it with open arms. I ran my first race October 2011 and I’m definitely not stopping at one race :) When I first started “seriously” exercising in college, I only did the elliptical. Since then, I have opened myself to many different forms of exercise like walking, strength training,  running and, still, the elliptical. Staying active has become a big part of my life.

I enjoy taking pictures, which is one of the reasons I started my Project 365. Most of the pictures I take that are not part of Project 365 are flower pictures. I like taking close-ups and trying to see the flower from a different view.

I also collect Rubber Ducks and have over 600. They are all different and are all themed.

I love traveling and seeing new places. My dream would be to travel to every state (and if I could run in every state, that would be awesome too 🙂 )

I’m still trying to find myself and learn about myself every day. I have been trying new things and become a stronger, more confident person. Running has given me a lot more confidence. I feel brave and powerful. Strong and invincible. Always trying to stay positive when life happens.

   Thank you for stopping!
